Sad sad news, I knew Mick from when I first started watching pools in the late 80s. He even made the effort to come to my 21st birthday in Kingston.
Murton Les also came and my wife to this day has always described them as āthe proclaimersā. I canāt say that Iāve seen much of him since but itās a memory that will always stay with me.
RIP Mick.

Thatās very sad news. I didnāt know heād been ill. Spoke to him a couple of times last season on leaving the ground and he seemed fine. Reunited with his dad who was also a massive pools fan.

Sad days when we lose a long time Pooly.
Remember when he won the three legends quiz on radio. He had amazing football knowledge not only about Pools.
RIP Mick.
